Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION PENDING!
April is one truly special girl according to her foster dad (who has fostered a LOT of big dogs). She is a 1-2 year old female Lab/Pit Bull mix who was found near a dumpster. April is very sweet and gentle lady who currently lives with a pack of 8 large dogs and has done exceptionally well. April is a calm submissive dog who gets along with everyone. She is playful, but not rambunctious. April truly loves attention from humans and given the opportunity, will quietly snuggle her way to your side when sitting on the sofa. There she loves to doze while you pet her. She is crate trained and may be house trained. April would be great in a home with other dogs or by her self. Because of her nipping tendencies and because of the herding nature of her breed, it would also be best if she had a forever home with children over the age of twelve.
Will adopt only in the Kansas City metro area.
As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Mark at markbopp-hahs@comcast.net so you can find out how to meet APRIL!
