My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Our names are Doogie and Polly. I'm Doogie (a male), and I'm on the left in the Santa picture and the right in the other picture. My sister, Polly is my bestest buddy in the whole world, and we very much want to be adopted together. We are 9 months old bichon frises.

We LOVE to run and play together in the fenced yard at our foster home, so it's important that there be a fenced yard wherever we go. Our foster mom just laughs at how fast we can run and how we keep up with each other so well. We run at the same speed with the same kind of stride. We also look a lot alike as you can see!

Since being rescued, I've been neutered and Polly has been spayed. We have been brought up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and we're both microchipped. We're being fed a high-quality puppy food that doesn't contain any corn, wheat, soy, meat by-products or other low-quality ingredients, and we hope our new family will continue to feed us a high-quality food for the rest of our lives. We're being fostered in Barneveld, WI, and our combined adoption fee is $750. If you're interested in adopting us, please email Margaret at loveforbichons@gmail.com to request an application.

The adoption process with Safe Haven Bichon and Friends Rescue includes an application, reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs on planes or send them on transports. Adopters need to come to the foster home to adopt.
