Flamenco's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Flamenco's Story...
Flamenco is a teeny tiny young mom to four kittens. She was originally rescued from animal control when the kittens were very young. The whole family got very sick there but has since recovered beautifully. Flamenco is a doll in every sense of the word. She is very, very affectionate and loves to be pet and held. She isn't shy and loves people. She tested positive for the FIV virus, but is otherwise healthy and we anticipate her living a long and full life as most FIV positive cats do. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, so flamenco could live with other cats. She will be spayed, microchipped' and current on vaccines prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flamenco, a Chicago Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
