Bucky's Story...
Isn't this sweetheart handsome?? Bucky is a 4 year old Silky Terrier mix in need of his new leash on life! He has a happy-go-lucky personality and is always super happy to meet new people! He greets everyone he meets with tail-wags and kisses. He is a snuggler and one of his favorite places to be is on your lap or cuddling against you. He likes to run around and explore new areas but it doesn't take long for him to come right back and be by your side. He does really well with other dogs and seems to like having other furry friends with him. He does well with kids of any age too so would fit nicely into almost any family! Bucky is microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on his vaccinations so all he's missing is you! He's available at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook so come visit him today! We're open every day from 12-6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bucky, a Benbrook Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
