Maya's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Maya's Story...
Maya was a “pass along” dog, having been abandoned by her initial owner, she would take up with various neighbors, though no one wanted to take full responsibility for her. Finally someone recognized this special dog deserved a better life and got her into rescue. Maya is around 6 yrs. old, 70 lbs., spayed, current on all vaccinations & preventatives, leash, house & crate-trained. She has a typical Husky temperament – laid back, independent, protective and with most distinctive, soulful vocal expressions. LOVES going for long walks on a leash, is fine meeting other people, kids & dogs (but NO cats), though remains fairly aloof with strangers. She will be a loyal and devoted companion to someone who is familiar with this breed. For more info on Maya and to fill out an application you MUST contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com DO NOT contact Pooches and Purrs as you will NOT get a response. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Spring Valley Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
