My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy's story with us began the morning of November 5th 2014. I was on my way to work and had taken the back way, which is a gravel road that goes around the side of a mountain. Buddy was searching along the side of the road for food scraps or literally anything he could eat because he was starving. Form the moment I spotted him I knew he was coming home with me and I would do whatever I had to do to catch him. Thankfully, he was only a little frightened and I was able to win him over with my lunch. At a mere 38 lbs we had to introduce food to him slowly because he had gone so long with out food and his body wasn't used to digesting the food. He is in perfect health now and awaiting the right person or family to come along and give him plenty of love, care and kibble!

These days Buddy is doing wonderful. He has gained about 20 lbs, his brindle coat is shines in the sun and he has lots of love to give. Buddy will need an adopter who has a fenced in yard where he can safely have fun and play with out his hound nose getting him in to trouble. He is good with other dogs but a little weary of large male dogs.

Buddy needs someone who will give him lots of love and attention. Buddy is about 3 years old so he's out of the puppy stage, that means no chewed shoes or furniture!!! He has had some work on house training and will go to the door to be let out when he needs to go but still has accidents when left alone. Buddy does well on a leash and crates perfectly with no accidents in his crate. He's very friendly/social and would make a great family pet.

If you think he could be your best Buddy please email scloveofpawstn@hotmail.com for an adoption application.

**Buddy is up to date on Vaccines and Neutered.**
Adoption fee is $75
