Maizey's Story...
Meet Maizey!

Maizey was rescued on her last day from a high kill shelter in California. Maizey is a very sweet, fun-loving and silly girl. Maizey enjoys running with her foster mom and would love an active, outdoorsy type family. She is playful and enjoys exercise. Maizey loves to meet new people and is unbelievably sweet with children. She literally, lowers herself to the ground to make them feel comfy and safe. Even the mailman adores her, he gives her love every time he comes to the house. Maizey is very respectful and obedient. She wants to please and enjoys love and attention. Maizey is house and leash trained, spayed, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped.

A home check, contract and adoption fee is required for Maizey.

Please contact shalee@thearkanimalrescue.org for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maizey, a Mission Viejo Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
