Mario is a very sweet, friendly, happy, playful, and well-behaved dog! Mario is doing very well in his foster home since the first day he arrives. Mario is now living with many other rescued doggies like himself and enjoys playing with all of them. He is great with dogs of all sizes and gender. Mario is also very gentle with the foster family’s son who is 7 years old. Mario is a good temperament boy and will do well in any homes that is willing to open their hearts to this poor boy.

Poor Mario was found as a homeless dog wandering around a neighborhood. He is such a good boy and just sit nicely hoping that someone will take him home. His good temperament made him an easy target for the garbage collectors to catch him and send him to the high kill government shelter twice. A kind lady bailed him out before death row. However, she can’t take him home and had no choice but to put him back to the street to continue his homeless life.

When his foster mom heard his story, she didn’t have the heart for him to live on the street. She brought him home and gave his the best care. He had a complete checkup at the vet. He is a very healthy boy but unfortunately has heartworms from living on the streets. However, Mario has been treated and has recovered. Just like any healthy dogs, all he will need is a dose of heartgard (heartworm preventative) every month.

Mario is such a great boy and deserves a good life and all the fun that he has missed all his puppy days. Please give Mario a chance to live and have a new start in life!
