My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Allie! I'm about 2 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs.
I was seized by the pound after they received a disturbing call that I had been tied up outside all night in a snow storm and was still tied outside the following morning. It was 11 degrees with whipping winds that were below zero. There was 4+ inches of snow. I had a hole melted in the snow where I was trying to lay down to keep warm because I had NO SHELTER whatsoever to help keep me out of the wind and elements.
When they guy came to investigate the call, I was shivering and holding my paws up. He also found my friend Azalea while he was out on the call at our house. She is a tiny little thing and was even colder than me! She had ice hanging off of her face!!
Our owner was initially fighting to get custody of us again. When she called the pound to inquire about getting us back, she acted as if there was absolutely nothing wrong with leaving us outside in that weather with no shelter at all.
When our case went to court, she pled no contest and was found guilty.
The pound now has custody of us. We will be vetted and can now begin looking for new homes.
We know we deserve a better life and we are hoping to get adopted into loving families. Families that would never tie us up outside and leaving us in that kind of weather ever again!
I'm very, very sweet. I totally adore people. I'm all kisses and tail wags. I'm a little bit hyper at first because I just love people but I really settle down nicely. I know how to sit and lay down on command.
I am very good with other dogs and I'm even very tolerant of other dogs that aren't being as nice as they should be to me or even dogs that are just plain annoying.
If you're looking for a super sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER DECEMBER 22, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
