My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a sweet and cuddly young female dog then take a look at our adorable Olive, a beagle mix that would love to find her forever family. She loves to be with people and is very eager to please. She will often flop on her back for belly rubs. We think belly rubs are second only to hugs in Olive’s book of favorite things. She has the softest coat! This sweetheart ended up in a South Carolina kill shelter for unknown reasons. How someone could have abandoned such a lovely dog with such a pleasing nature is beyond our understanding. Olive is very friendly and really enjoys meeting new people. She walks well on lead and rides great in the car. She will love to be a part of her family’s activities but for times when she can’t go with you she feels very comfortable spending time in her crate. She is an easy dog to manage and take care of and is going to make some family very happy. Olive enjoys our other dogs but would be fine as an only dog. She should do great with children as she is very gentle. Cats have confused her. She liked the first few she met, but when one swatted at her she did not back down, so she would probably not be appropriate for a home with cats. Olive is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is one year old and weighs 25 lbs. If you would like to meet Olive please complete our adoption application form on line at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form call Tony at 336.251.8877 to confirm receipt, ask questions, discuss your application and set up a time to visit. We have an adoption center in downtown Mocksville and are there by appointment only. Our hours are flexible but we can typically meet any day of the week at 7 or 8 pm. On weekends and holidays we can also meet between noon and 4 pm. We will work with you to arrange a convenient time when all family members including dogs are available for a visit. Olive can’t wait to meet you! 01796
