Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello World,
My name is Snowy and I’m a darling and very precious little bichon girl of three. I’m a little shy and gentle initially however I become a major snuggle bunny very quickly. And, according to my foster mom, I’m also a budding beauty who understands everything she tells me and learns very quickly. There was the time Mom wanted to teach me how to ‘sit’ for example. I figured out that when I do that I get a treat - so I learned ‘sit’ in just seconds! (And Mom says I smile the whole time I’m sitting, too.)
I also have this ‘happy dance’ I like to do. It goes like this: First I decide on two points that I want to run from, like from one side of the kitchen to the other. Then I add a little spin to the dance – so I run, spin and run some more. The whole time I do that I am smiling (yes, I am smiling!) Mom says no one can resist me when I do that – and my doggy foster sisters and brother think it’s pretty cute too.
I know how to do a lot of ‘useful’ things. I know how to walk on a leash and am great in a car. I also excel at snuggling and cuddling. In addition, I'm one of the sweetest and most well-mannered bichons you will ever meet.
And, in case you couldn’t tell, I'm also a 'girly-gir.l' Right now my hair is kind of short, but when my hair gets longer, you'll see how beautiful I will be. (My Aunties agree with Mom on my being beautiful.) What’s more, they say that my eyes are the windows to a very beautiful soul. I don’t quite know exactly what that means but I’m grateful that everyone likes me!
Although my very favorite thing in the world is to be with my people, I also need to have a doggie brother or sister. And I know I shouldn’t be choosey, but I’d really like my sibling to be a Bichon! Mom says I am a gentle girl who just yearns for attention. I need somebody to give me lots of love – and I give it right back too. I enjoy being with people. Mom thinks that one day I won’t be shy at all - just a sweet and special little girl who is longing to make someone very happy.
Oh and there are three other things I need to tell you: I get along well with cats, my doggy foster brothers and sisters – and I’m wonderful with children. I spent the holidays with three 7 year olds (that’s a good age for me) and we cuddled for hours on end.
So if I sound like your kind of girl, please complete an application and ask for me -- I’m Snowy! And I’m a rare and special little girl!
Your friend-in-waiting,
Sweet and Oh-So-Special Snowy
