My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a 1-year-old male Terrier mix. I weigh about 11 pounds. I'm a sweet, adorable, happy-go-lucky little guy and my tail never stops wagging! I love getting belly rubs from my human friends, and I get along great with other dogs. Oh, and I also love car rides! So how did I end up here? Well, let me tell you my story...I was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles and brought into a high kill city animal shelter. I had a pretty severe injury on my left hind foot that the veterinarian called a de-gloving. This means that the skin on my foot had been torn off, leaving me with an open wound and one less toenail. Ouch! So the vet bandaged me up and sent me back to the pound. It was no fun being in that scary place all by myself! But luckily, I didn't have to wait very long to get out of there. The nice people at CageFree decided to take me in and give me a place to stay while my foot heals. My friends here at CageFree say I'm really brave, because my injury doesn't hold me back at all from running, jumping and playing! As much as I love to play, I'd also be content just sitting in your lap and giving you loads of kisses! I'm just an all-around great pup looking for my furever home.
