Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.
Bandit is looking for a good leader in life. He is an amazing dog but circumstances developed to require finding him a new home. Bandit goes to doggie day care and is good with large and small dogs when properly introduced. He lives with another dog at home. The problem is that he has issues on leash and lives in an area where crossing the street when he sees dogs on walks is impossible. His owners are both in their 70’s and admit they do not have the strength or skills to handle him properly in their home on a canal with very narrow walkways. This makes Bandit more protective of them both. He travels with them and they love him to pieces. He loves his owners so much that he can also be protective at home with gardeners or strangers coming over. A confident owner is all Bandit needs to live a wonderful and safe life for all.
Bandit is in his home and not at BRLA. If you would like to meet him please ask for him by name when scheduling your adoption appointment so we can make arrangements in advance.
