BENJI Male Mini Golden Retriever mix X DOB Aug 2014 Contact: Twylasfriends@yahoo.com

Meet Benji
Benji is approximately 4 months old and looks to be an Aussie Shepherd / mini Golden Retriever mix. The veterinarian does not expect Benji to grow larger than 30 lbs., as he weighs around 15 lbs. at the moment.

Benji came to his foster family after wandering onto a fellow Kingwood resident’s property the weekend prior.

This little lover easily fits in with the other members of his current household: two adults, three human kids (boys ages 2, 4, and 7), and one fur-kid (1.5 year old Golden Retriever mix; altered female). Benji loves to play with anyone and everyone who looks his way, human or canine (he hasn’t met any kitties yet but he can be tested upon request). Over the days he has been with his family, he has easily adjusted to his crate, lounging on the couch or the big dog bed in front of the fire, and chasing a ball around the fenced-in yard. He likes long walks in the neighborhood, a good rawhide to chew on and being petted endlessly.

The wee guy is neutered and microchipped, is working towards becoming house and leash trained, and has tons of potential! Benji is beginning to respond to basic “sit” and “heel” commands, and will make a great family dog. If you would like more info on Benji please contact: Twylasfriends@yahoo.com
*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***
