This darling little lady is Serina, a maltese mix that is a little over a year old and would love a great home of her own. Serina came to us from our Newark facility when she was picked up as a stray. How on earth could someone let this tiny girl go? She is very happy to be safe with us now, and is eager to start her life over again with a loving family. Serina was fighting a bad cold when she first arrived but finally, she has been given a clean bill of health and is ready to start interviewing potential families. Serina is a friendly and outgoing girl but she will use a bit of caution when meeting new people. No need to worry though, once Serina gives you the sniff-test, she'll be your best friend for life and would love to go out for a walk with you, or just curl right up on your lap. She is very affectionate once she gets to know you and Serina is well behaved too. She walks well on a leash and she loves to run and play in our exercise yard. Serina doesn't mind other dogs but she will need a home with no children under the age of 10. She sits nicely when asked and will do a little dance on her hind legs for a treat. Serina will dance her way right out the front door with a great family that promises to love and care for her forever. File#24171 12/1/14
