Meet Lucy! This lucky lady was stray and wandered into the yard of a person that just so happened to like dogs and took her in. She is now looking for her forever home. She is estimated to be 1 to 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. Lucy is healthy and fully vetted. She is a bit timid when she first meets someone new but she does warm up to you once she feels comfortable. She is house trained and crate trained, and is good with other dogs and with cats. Her foster mom says that she is very smart, playful, and agile...her personality is calm, quiet, sweet, and well behaved....a very nice well rounded girl with great possibilities for a fortunate family. If you are interested in this precious hound girl, please go to our website and apply today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Nashville Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
