Jazz's Story...
Hi I'm Jazz and I'm an absolutely gorgeous black German Shepherd dog. I was found on the side of a highway and when my "owners" found out that they couldn't have me back because they had me chained up and planned on breeding me nonstop :-( I was rescued! Yay because I deserve so much better than that!! I appear to be a purebred shepherd. I'm only about ten months old so still have some growing to do (currently 62 lbs). I am a very friendly girl just looking for that perfect home with a fenced yard. I get along with other dogs and am also good with dog savvy cats. My foster mom is cratetraining me too. I walk GREAT on a leash and prance and watch my foster mom's every move (but I don't like to potty on a leash. I need a yard because I'm a free-range pooper hehe!) I am so eager to learn and very smart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazz, a Foster German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Foster, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
