Jigsaw Pups and Mama's Story...
Jigsaw puppies and their darling mama...

The Jigsaw puppies are splashy and flashy little kiddos! Black with swirls of white and freckles, each is uniquely marked. Healthy and happy, they are just 4 weeks old at Christmas, and will be available for adoption late January. There are four boys and three girls – Jaxson, Jet, Jordy, Jipp, Jewel, June, and Joy. Mom is a frecklefaced sweetheart – a love with people, good with other dogs, totally optimistic, and a fabulous mama. She will be available for adoption after the puppies are weaned and is sure to make an outstanding companion. This forgiving young female was dumped at an Idaho shelter in late November very pregnant, and gave birth at the shelter 2 days later, the week of Thanksgiving. The shelter staff called WBCR to help and before they were even a week old the puppies and mama were on their way to a foster home. The whole family is now being fostered near Salt Lake City, UT by a puppy fostering angel. If you are interested in a puppy get your application in now, as they take several weeks to process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jigsaw Pups and Mama, a Salt Lake City Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Salt Lake City, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Salt Lake City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salt Lake City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salt Lake City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salt Lake City paves the way for another one to be saved.
