My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

• *Sorry, we will Not ship ANY parrots, t’s just our policy. We are located in Vancouver, Washington. We can only place our orphaned parrots in either Washington state, or Oregon.*

-- *If you’re not willing to follow the instructions listed below, THEN PLEASE STOP HERE;
IF you can follow instructions, then continue to read on:
Harlequin Macaws are a Hi-Bred macaw that is a cross between a Blue & Gold Macaw and a Greenwing Macaw.
Our 20 year old boy is very tame and well-mannered boy is accustomed to being out of his cage all day long. If you can’t provide this routine or have experience with macaws, please DON’T contact us.
Macaws can be vocal at times and require allot of attention and a stimulating safe environment. Harlequin Macaws require allot of exercise, and can live 50 years or longer, so you must be a person who is willing to give this lifelong commitment he deserves.

We recommend that Rembrandt's new home be a low traffic home with little or no competition for attention from other pets or children. He easily gets jealous. We will not consider anyone under the age of 30 years of age, and live in a house.
We prefer to re-home Rembrandt locally, within 40 to 50 miles of Vancouver, Washington, so we can conduct a home visit, and more importantly, make sure Rembrandt likes you and your home.
