Jasper's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jasper's Story...
If you're looking for a sweet lap cat, meet Jasper...he was living under a restaurant in Waxhaw until we picked him up.

Jasper is extremely lovable and is a total lap cat! He loves to be petted and talked to and to have his belly rubbed. When he meows he makes a chirpping sound. Jasper was introduced to catnip a few nights ago and absolutely loved it. You will fall in love with Jasper!

Since Jasper had never been inside until he came to his foster home, he is still learning what life is like inside of a home and getting use to things we take for granted such as the TV, dishwasher, washer and dryer, ceiling fan. Jasper will do best as an only cat as he does not like other cats and gets upset when he sees himself in a mirror.

Jasper is neutered, negative for feline leukemia and Fiv, up to date on vaccines, and has been treated for fleas and worms.

Adopting to South Charlotte and surrounding area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Monroe Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
