My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This very special boy came into rescue when he showed up on my door step over the summer. He is about 3-4 years old and weighs about 85 pounds. He is extremely smart. He also believes he fits perfectly in your lap. He is very loving and playful and gets along well with all the cats and dogs he is fostered with. He can be a little protective with his food sometimes with other dogs but that is easily managed. He would prefer a home where he can sleep in the bed with a human and he definitely needs a home where he will get regular exercise. He loves to go for walks and is wonderful off leash. He loves humans of all sizes and is great with kids. He has a special way about him that he just seems to know that with smaller people and smaller animals, he must be extra gentle. We believe he may be Lab, Great Dane, Boxer. He loves to go for rides and he loves to swim. He has some separation anxiety and he loves people so much so his ideal home would be one where someone is home most of the time or where he can go to work with someone. He is extra special and therefore will require an extra special forever home.
This funny girl came into rescue when her owner let her mom get pregnant accidentally and couldn't find homes for all of them. She was being given away on social media and thankfully a rescue person saw the ad and snagged her before she fell into the wrong hands. Now she is fully vetted and house trained and knows what it's like to be a part of a family and she loves it. She can't wait to find a family of her very own. She was born about the 1st week of July. She weighs about 12 pounds now and is just the funniest girl. She is very playful and very loving. She has been an unusual puppy in that she hasn't chewed on inappropriate things and was very easy to house train. She loves to sleep in the bed with her foster parents and also enjoys lap time during the day too. She loves to go for walks and does excellent off leash. She is such a funny little goofball with a great personality and will make a great addition to any home.
This pup has received at least 2 sets of Distemper/Parvo vaccines, 1 Bordetella vaccine. It has been wormed at least twice and has been spayed/neutered. It is currently on Flea/tick prevention and Heartworm prevention. If the pup is over 6 months of age it has also been tested for Heartworms. If the pup tested positive for heartworms, we treat them before they leave for their forever homes. Please email Jennifer at jenniferjmcbride@aol.com for an adoption application or if you have questions about this pup. This pup’s adoption fee is $350 which covers all the vetting mentioned above plus the extra vet visit and Interstate Health Certificate required for the pup to travel and the transport fee charged by the transport company that will transport this adopted pup from the South to his/her forever home in the North. We use a few different transport companies to help accommodate our adopters. Please feel free to check out their websites to familiarize yourself with their meeting locations to see if one company suits you better.
