for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Brownie's Info...

I am housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Brownie's Story...
Wigglebutt "Brownie" ( 3 years old) was adopted from us in August and returned right before Christmas, because she developed separation anxiety and was eating on the carpet a little too much.
Brownie is housetrained, needs a little training on the leash and knows sit.
She is kennel trained and should be in a kennel when left alone.
Brownie is good with children and seems to like other dogs.
The ideal home for Brownie would be a active family that takes her for runs, hikes and to the dogpark. A yard with someone to play fetch with, would be ideal.

Brownie's Adoption Fee is $82, which includes: Microchip, Vaccines ( Distemper & Rabies), and deworming. If you're interested please call (785)239-6183! If no one answers then please leave a message! You can also contact us via email at nicole.p.storm@us.army.mil

Act quickly to adopt Brownie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Fort Riley Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Riley, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Riley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Riley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Riley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Riley paves the way for another one to be saved.
