Gorilla's Story...
Hi there! My name is Gorilla. I am blind, hard of hearing, and limited in the mobility department... but I am an explorer at heart! I love to walk my perimeters and see what I can find along the way. I am very intuitive, especially around breakfast and dinner time. You could almost set a clock by my meal time announcements. I am also extremely well-mannered, but will need transportation assistance to go out and do my business. Don't worry, I don't waste any time!

My blindness makes me easily startled. I appreciate it if you announce your presence by putting your hand in front of me. I will give you lots of hand kisses in return. I am also a world-class nuzzler. I will nudge and nuzzle my way right into your heart. So,if you are looking for a sweet little lump of puggyness, I am your boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gorilla, a Austin Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
