Zoe's Story...
COURTESY POST:
Zoe is an 18 month old 110 lb. spayed female Fawnaquin Great Dane (mostly white) that has not had a fair start in life. This girl is full of life and loves everyone. Zoe even has a fawn colored heart on her back. She had been bought to use for breeding but when she didn't go into heat at 11 mos. of age her owner sold her at a yard sale. Her new owner had her shut in a crate a good part of the day and was going through family changes.
Zoe has adjusted extremely well in her foster home and loves to play, so she will need a playmate in her new home. She minds very well and aims to please. Crate-trained, loves to snuggle, house-trained, walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands.
Zoe does very well at the dog park with all dogs. She's a little over bearing with some small dogs and cats in her foster home.
Zoe is located in Charlotte, NC area. Contact: gabbytam1@yahoo.com if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Charlotte Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
