CORKY's Story...
What a cutie! Corky is very sweet, good natured, friendly, happy and playful…just a great guy. He loves people and gets along with all the other dogs and cats. So far he has been more on the quieter side and he is fairly active, but not hyper. His coat looks scruffy but is it is actually very soft and uniquely colored. Corky was rescued from the local kill shelter and now he would love nothing more than to be adopted by an active and loving family. He is two years old and weighs 21 pounds. Corky has been neutered, is current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CORKY, a Newburgh Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
