Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. I'm Jonah. I was picked up as a stray in Kentucky and then spent 8 months at an animal shelter. Chicagoland Dog Rescue brought me here to find me a new home. After I arrived at my foster home, it became obvious that I didn't know how to behave in a home. I am not aggressive at all. I just didn't have any house manners. After working with me for a couple of months, CDR decided that I should spend 3 weeks at A Closer Bond in Palatine in a board and train situation. I learned a lot of new skills at A Closer Bond and now I am back at my foster home. My foster mom says I need to go to a home where the people are committed to reinforcing my training. I get along with other dogs, but since I am going to need training reinforcement for awhile, it would probably be best if I was the only dog in the home for now and no small children. I like to be with people and I like to be active, so I wouldn't do well in a home where I will be left alone and crated all day. My foster mom thinks I would like being trained for agility, but a nice walk or run would be nice too. If you would like to meet me, come to CDR's adoption event on Saturday at Petco in Schaumburg from 10:30-2:30.
