Meet Poncho! Poncho is a chihuahua who is about 8 yrs old and weighs 6.5 lbs. He was rescued from a local shelter where his previous owners brought him to be put to sleep because they could no longer care for him. He is one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs we have had in rescue to date. He gets along well with other dogs and does well with housetraining. He may be classified as a senior, but he has several years of life to live and love to give. If you have any interest in this boy, I highly recommend contacting us to meet him in person. You will not be disappointed. He has a luxating patella, but that doesn't seem to hinder any of his activities that we have noticed. Poncho would do best in an all adult home. Poncho's adoption fee of $225 goes towards the cost of his medical care.
