Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet JONATHAN! Jonathan is a 2-3 year old gorgeous black lab that just arrived with his ‘furry family’ – an adult female and 3 puppies! He was found as a stray on a road in Alabama known to be a dumping place for unwanted dogs. A good samaritan took them in and now they are with us! Jonathan is a fun and active dog who can’t wait to find his forever home. Jonathan may do best in a home with a female dog or he’d be fine as an only dog.
UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY: Jonathan is doing well and is continuing to settle in. He is much happier with his cone of shame off! He’s also eating a little bit more and playing with toys,
which is good to see. Jonathan is very much a people dog. He wants to be close to his humans and follows us around the house diligently. He is crate trained and goes
in with ease. He is also housebroken; however, he hasn’t given
signals. We just know to take him out every 3-4 hours. Overall, I think Jonathan would do well in any home, with or without another dog. He just wants to be loved.
