I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kahn's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Kahn's Story...
Kahn is a purebred Siberian Husky - very striking looks. He is under two years old. Anyone who has had experience with a Husky will know what we mean when we say he is a typical Husky. He is a very good boy but has certain personality traits that do not make him a good candidate for a first time dog owner. He is a bit aloof. He is not aggressive but he can be bossy/spoiled.

Kahn is an athlete and he needs to get that energy out in a healthy way. A good, fenced in yard would be perfect for him to run. He would really blossom in a home outside of the city where he can really stretch his legs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kahn, a New York Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in New York, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
