PIPER's Story...
These sweet pups were not lucky enough to be born outside of a shelter environment. Their mom had them while she was in a local Tennessee shelter. lucky for them, we became aware of them AND a foster stepped up and offered to foster mom and newborn puppies until the age at which they were old enough to be adopted. These little guys will be ready to go to their new forever homes starting the week of January 15 and we are now accepting applications on them. They will have been dewormed, vaccinated twice, begun heart guard and flea and tick topical. They are currently being fostered in the south but will travel via transport to their new homes via transport. The adoption fee of 450.00 also includes their transport.
For an adoption application on any of these little guys, please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PIPER, a KITTERY Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in KITTERY, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in KITTERY.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in KITTERY already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a KITTERY breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in KITTERY paves the way for another one to be saved.
