My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petite and adorable, that is our little pup Nate! This beautiful Chihuahua is a major lap warmer and super sweet.

He is a little shy at first and has a very gentle, submissive personality. Though timid, he is quite friendly and makes new people friends easily. All he needs to know is that you love him and will let him cuddle with you and he will bond in a flash. He just wants to be wanted and will accept any invitation to come up onto a welcoming lap.

Nate lived in a home with about six Chihuahuas until his owner died, and so far, all that we have met have been tender, sweet and quiet like him. He is very polite and seems to always want to do the right thing. He will calmly pose on his haunches for you (picture three) when he really wants to show you what a good boy he is, and stay in that pose until he topples over or gets your attention.

Nate is good on the leash and will trot sweetly by your side. His prior owner was elderly and was not able to walk him so he will appreciate neighborhood walks and more exposure to the outside world in his new home.

This 2 – 3 year old sweetheart really is a special guy and, if you want a tiny, gentle dog with a huge heart and cuddly personality, Nate is the boy for you! The fact that he is also so handsome he just has to be called beautiful instead is a bonus. Adoption donation $175.
