Buster's Story...
Courtesy posting. Please contact Ann at annhendrix@yahoo.com or 323-633-9198. Buster is a 9 year-old special boy looking for a new home due to owner illness. Buster is initially scared of people but once he opens up is a total love bug who wants nothing more than to be your best companion for life and receive lots of rubs! Buster is considered special needs because due to a condition that makes him try to eat anything (plants, plastic, etc) as a kitten he ingested a bike seat and now needs sensitive stomach food. Since he also eats these items he also vomits frequently. That said, if you're a minimalist and have love in your heart for Buster, please contact Ann ASAP to save this sweet handsome boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
