Jean's Story...
Jean is about 9 years old and came in with her brother/ friend, Billy. They are a very nice and very bonded elderly couple who are very much in love with each other. They would love to go to a home together. They appear to be at least slightly house trained and they have very good people manners. They would be great companions for almost any single person or couple, children involved need to be brought in to see if everyone gets along. Come in and meet them for yourself.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jean, a Martinsville Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Martinsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Martinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Martinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
