Nina's Story...

Meet Nina, an adorable bichon frise! Since coming into rescue, this former puppy mill mama  has just flourished!! She is enjoying life to the fullest. She loves to go for walks and tries to keep up with her foster brother. She is learning leash manners, but is a very quick learner. She is starting to learn that cuddles are really good. She is looking for someone to give her the love and attention that she truly deserves. She loves to play with her foster brother. Nina requires a home with another dog, thus she is still learning on how to be a dog. She is very cautious and timid when she first meets you, but once she warms up, she is all smiles. She will need a patient gentle hand to learn that she can be safe. Nina has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, heart worm tested and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $375 and includes all of her health records. To meet Nina, please call Animalert at 519-642-7732 or complete the adoption form at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a London Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in London, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in London.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in London already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a London breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in London paves the way for another one to be saved.
