Socks is a handsome black and white tuxedo boy that has been at the shelter for far too long after he was found wandering alone on Mountain Creek Road. He doesn’t ask for much. He’s just looking for someone to give him the lifetime of snuggles and playtime that he deserves. Really, all he wants is some affection, food, and a box inside to call his own. Big, small, cardboard, or plastic...he doesn’t care as long as you love him and pet him while he sits in it:)

Socks is a large boy and was born in May 2013. He is mellow, but also likes to explore. He does well around the other cats, but would be happiest if he were the only cat, or at least the one in charge:) He would love to live in a home with adults only where he can seek affection on his own terms. He enjoys sitting by a window, lounging out in a comfy place, sunbathing, and sleeping up high. He also really enjoys treats! Come in and see Socks…if you spend some quality time with him, he will ask you to love on him! Come meet this great guy today!

The adoption fee is $50 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, FELV/FIV test, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, and spay or neuter.
