Scooby's Story...
My name is Scooby, 1 year old, male, Old English Shep/Lhasa Apso mix. I was relinquished by my owner along with my sister Cinnamon due to Landloard issues. I've been an inside dog since i was a puppy, been around kids and other family pets. I'm potty-trained, great in leash, and can also be a good cuddler when given the chance and attention. I love going out on walks, runs or hikes even better! I would love to be adopted along with my sister Cinnamon but if not possible i can also be adopted alone. I would also prefer a home with other family pets, kids or an active family that can give me lots of attention. I love being around my humans! Can't wait to meet you! I will welcome you with tons of kisses!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a South Gate Old English Sheepdog/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Old English Sheepdog/Lhasa Apso for sale in South Gate, or seeking a Old English Sheepdog/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in South Gate.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Gate already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Gate breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Old English Sheepdog/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Old English Sheepdog/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Gate paves the way for another one to be saved.
