Diesel's Story...
These brothers have certainly been through the wringer through no fault of their own. Diesel is a Male American Staffordshire Terrier Mix, age 6, neutered and UTD. Blaze is a Male Rottie/Pittie Mix, age 4, neutered and UTD. Both dogs are amazing with other dogs but Blaze can be a little pushy, cats, and kids. Very, very sweet and mild tempered. They know only a couple of commands but are very treat motivated. They know sit, paw, come, and we are working on stay. They are house trained and love to go for walks. They listen and run off leash, but come right back when called. They're wonderful in the car and they give tons of kisses. They MUST be adopted together, no exceptions. To apply, please fill out the Adoption Application via www.brasscityrescuealliance.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Middlebury American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Middlebury, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Middlebury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middlebury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middlebury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middlebury paves the way for another one to be saved.
