Facts about Esme

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Domestic Shorthair, grey and white tabby, spayed female, 7 pounds, DOB: 11/15/2013. Esme is very timid girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can learn to trust over time. She will need for someone to be patient and let her adjust in her own way, and in her own time. Esme would do best in a quiet home without small children or dogs. She is fine with other cats, and would need to live indoors only. Once this shy sweetheart gets to know you and is comfortable in her surroundings, she is quite lovable and friendly. If you are interested in giving this beauty a forever home, come by Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic in Alpharetta, GA or call us at 770.475.8272.

About Crabapple Knoll Pets for Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Stray Program began in 1988, with one dog named Redman. He was rescued by a client who indicated that he had belonged to a homeless man. The man had since disappeared, and the red Chow was now living on his own. We brought him to our Clinic and named him Redman. He tested heartworm positive and was treated for that condition. Redman was also neutered. One of our Veterinarians fell in love and adopted him. Unfortunately, Redman did not live long due to heartworm disease, but enjoyed several great years with his new owner. It was because of Redman that our Stray Program came to fruition. We began a fund to support the Program and, since then, have found many dogs and cats their forever homes! The majority of our pets were sick or injured strays who had no one to care for them. Thanks to Dr. Joe Gaston, we are able to continue our work with sick and injured strays and have the opportunity to give back to our pet community!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Clinic is located at 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, Georgia 30004. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6:30AM to 9PM and Saturday-Sunday 8AM to 5PM. We have a few adoption events at the Clinic each year. All of our adoptable pets may be visited at the Clinic at any time. However, if a pet is labeled as being fostered, please call ahead so we can arrange to have the pet available for you.

Our Adoption Process...

Our goal is to find good homes for all of our stray pets and to adopt them out in the best health possible. Each pet is fully vetted and cared for by our amazing Veterinary Staff! Our adoption fee is $125, which includes a spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccines, and a microchip. We offer a two week trial period, during which time you may return the pet for a full refund if the placement does not work out. We will accept a pet back after two weeks, but no refund will be issued. If a pet is returned after a longer time period we may require a $125 relinquishment fee. We do not perform home visits or have any particular adoption requirements, such as fenced yard. We do, however, reserve the right to turn down potential adopters if we feel like it will not be in the best interest of the pet.
