found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Kiki was at Memphis Animal Services when we first met her. She came in with an Aussie mix, who was adopted. We fell in love with her kind, sweet, calm nature and her beauty. We were told that she was to be taken the following week as the shelter dog of the week for the local CBS news. When they went to spay her, they realized she was pregnant and just like that, Kiki's chance at adoption fell apart and she was placed in a part of the shelter where no one is able to go. We looked for her, pushed the issue and found out where she was. Now getting a pregnant dog out of a shelter with a euthanasia rate of 70% is a major obstacle. Our foster went to see her and we were told that she had delivered Bear and his brothers the night before.
This now became an emergency to get the whole family out of there. A shelter is no place for puppies and a nursing mom. We were able to get special permission and, thanks to a wonderful foster, we took Kiki, Bear, and his brothers and safely tucked them away in a home.
After seeing the puppies, it became obvious that their dad was the Aussie mix Kiki came in with, the one who was adopted. These guys are adorable - mom's adorable ears and sweet temperament mixed with dad's gorgeous coloring, and their own version of squishy faced puppy that makes your heart melt.
Bear's adoption fee is $500 and will include his vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, neuter and transportation from Memphis to you. Please email email@example.com for an adoption application.
Thank you for reading Bear's story and for considering a rescue.
