This is Kalico's story as told by her foster mom: This lovely girl was either dumped or left behind when the owners moved away. I couldn't just leave her outside to fend for herself so I brought her indoors where she would be safe and loved.
I call her K.C. (Kalico Cat). She is about a year old. She likes to be petted and brushed and loves to play, especially likes to chase a mouse that I have on a string. Can pick her up and hold her for a short time then she wants down. She doesn't like going into the carrier. I feed her in there quite often and when I can shut the gate take her to other parts of the house and let her see my cats.
She is very sweet and comical. My neighbor said she saw two ladies out on the sidewalk laughing. Went out to see what they were looking at and K.C. was putting on a show in the window. I have a cat tree that allows her to look out and she must have been after a fly or something because she was batting at the glass with her front paws and then checking to see that they were watching!! She would probably do well in a quiet home with someone who likes to entertain her.
