My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimi is an adorable 1-2 year old small breed mix who looks like a Shih Tzu / Border Terrier or Chinese Crested mix. She is very petite and at her full grown size she weighs barely five lbs. During her spay surgery they determined she has “stage-1” Heartworm, she is being treated homeopathically as is our protocol and have successfully treated other dogs using this method and it seems to work faster than the traditional methods. For this reason we are looking for a home near Sudbury. Mimi’s foster said she has come such a long way in two weeks from the scared/shy little dog with her tail tucked. She is now running and playing with her dogs (still a bit shy of people) but will curl up next to her and take a nap or play with her toys. She is a good eater and gets very excited when we come home - she bounces around doing playbows - so cute. Mimi is great with cats and dogs and goes outside with them and hasn't made a mistake in the house since the first week with us. We're hoping for a local adopter who work closely with us using our treatment. She is available to meet. Application required online at www.saveadog.org.
