Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trixie is a very special girl who has been through a lot. She needs a quiet home to recover and be her beautiful senior self. She has 3 legs and came into a shelter giving birth to puppies who all died. Alone and mourning the loss of her pups, the fact that she was three-legged didn't help her to get out of the shelter. Living on donated food and the normal loss of coat with hormonal changes, she developed itchy skin and some hair loss. We do want a stay or work from home situation for her. Her first love is to be with her person. Sweet Trixie is a tripod, missing her front right leg- she is a little older so she enjoys her rest but still is full of life. WE have gotten to know her better and she is still gaining strength and we think the fewer stairs the better for her. She deserves a quiet home where she can be the queen of someone's world. As much as she is fine with kids she is not a girl who will play with them or go hiking and biking with someone. Please apply at www.saveadog.org
