Riley was born October 27, 2014. He is a beautiful golden color with amazing colored eyes. He is a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle with you. He is playful and loves to run around with his toys. He gets along with male and female dogs but no big dogs. He is not a leg lifter or marker as he squats like his sisters. He is 9 lbs. Riley’s momma, Helia, was rescued pregnant from the shelter. He and his 3 siblings were born in the foster's home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Simi Valley Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
