My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nicholas (Nicky) is a sweet boy that is
approximately a year old, old located in Northern, CA. He has mastered
the doggy door and is house trained. He loves to go on walks and will keep
pace with your other dogs in a beautiful rhythmic gait. He would be a great
addition to any home but has lots of puppy energy so he’ll need another young dog to play with. He is just starting to retrieve the ball or his
stuffed toys and bring them to you. He will sit for treats as he is very
food motivated. He likes to do "drive-by" feeding throughout the day,
nibbling on 20 kibble or so at a time. He always wants to eat after he has
done his business so it's easiest to leave a small dish of kibble down for
him. He also enjoys chewing on carrots.
He would be a great companion for someone who walks for their daily exercise
and wants a partner to keep up with them. He might even be a good jogger or
runner if that is your speed. Nicholas sleeps through the night on the bed
but will sleep in a crate if you choose. He is a total love bug that gives
kisses easily and has a small underbite where you can see his lower canines
over his lip sometime. So I like to tease him and call him "snaggletooth"
(see photo). When he wakes up in the morning, he worms his way over to your
neck and wiggles around while you rub his belly and he tries to lick
whatever he can reach, your hand, neck, face or ear. It is very endearing
and great way to start the day! Nikky gets along well with other dogs, but
hasn't been around children to date. Children need to be over 10. He barks to alert
you to sounds or people going by the house or in the car. He rides very well in his
car travel seat and just wants to be where you are at all times. He is a
very happy boy and would love be become part of your family. He has beautiful
"cowbelly" spots all over like most Bichon Frises.

Nicholas is being fostered in N, CA
