My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emma is available for adoption! What can we say about this girl...she is just the sweetest pup and absolutely loves everyone and everything. Emma was found lying in the grass on the side of the road in Hartford. She was so sick she could barely keep her head up. She was brought to the vet and was diagnosed with an intestinal virus. She fought hard and after 9 days of IV fluids and antibiotics she was healthy enough to go to foster. She wins over the hearts of everyone she meets. She is housebroken and crate trained. This little snuggle muffin is approx 4 months old. The vet believes she is a Plott Hound/Pit mix and based on the size of her paws they think she could end up being 80-90 lbs. She currently lives with 2 children and 3 dogs and loves all of them to pieces. She did meet a cat whom she tried to engage in play with, and when she realized the cat did not want to play with her she was completely respectful of the correction (i.e. a swat to the head!). Emma has the cutest and funniest personality. She really is the perfect puppy. She has been vaccinated and was spayed on 1/6 and is now ready to find a forever home. Emma's adoption fee is $250 and home visit is required. Please email kenwayscause@aol.com for an application
