Toby's Story...
Here we go again - starting at the beginning. It is quite a stressful back and forth but there is really no reason. I could tell you a lot - but I will not as I do not want your compassion but would like your love, patience and understanding.
I would like to have a fresh start.
- I have a good age (2 1/2 years) - not too young or too old
- I have a good sides and a few rough edges - it is called character
- I have a lot of potential ( I need a quiet place to develop)
- I am for sure far better looking than in the picture :-)
- I do not want your compassion (my story is sad) but I would like - actually I am asking you - for your love, care, attention and patience because
- I would like to arrive and be at home just to be cat. Be with quite ordinary, understanding humans this will be a good fit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Horseshoe Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Horseshoe Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Horseshoe Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Horseshoe Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Horseshoe Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Horseshoe Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
