My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Holly and I am approximately one year old and a white German Shepherd. My foster mom thinks I'm so beautiful and I hope you do too. My sister and I were rescued by CCR from an ugly KY shelter where we just stayed in the corner scared to death there in the cold kennel run. My Dolly and I are so happy to not have to be there anymore. I am a shy girl but I have come a long, long way within the last 3 weeks of being with my foster mom and dog brother and sister. I'm learning how wonderful it is to be loved and how great it is to lay next to my foster mom on the couch. I like to hide in my crate but my foster mom won't let me go in there unless she has to leave for a little while. She says I need to learn not to hide so much. I'm so happy that she lets me sleep in the crate at night in her bedroom. I have learned that once the lights are out, I need to settle and go to sleep. I'm working on my house training and I'm making great progress. My foster dog sister and brother show me that potty outside is the right thing to do. I’m having so much fun playing with my foster siblings. It will just take me a little while to get used to my new family once you adopt me and if you have patience with me and show me that life can be great, I will be a wonderful addition to your family. I would love to have a fur sibling or two to play with at my new home. Confident sibling or siblings is what I need. It rubs off nicely they say. I haven't met any kitties yet but I think I would be more afraid of them, than anything else. I would feel more relaxed in a quiet home, so little kids might not be for me. My foster mom showed me how much fun it is to go on walks and I do like seeing the world, but I'm still careful not to get too far away from her. It would be great if my new family could take me out regularly and continue to socialize me with all the exciting things in the world. I'm only about 52 lbs right now but my mom is feeding me chicken and rice and I love that, so I should gain weight soon and get to my ideal weight of about 75-80 lbs. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon, so please hurry and call Ms. Candace! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
