Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Piglet and I am a darling little male Cattle Dog mix puppy who is 11 weeks old and looking for a great family to call my own. My littermates and I were dropped off at a kill shelter in Tennessee and we were one of the fortunate pups that got a nice rescue to take us home. We were part of a family that fostered us during Christmas while all the kids were home from college. Now everyone is leaving to go back to school and it’s time for me and my siblings to fly the nest and spread our wings as we join a forever family that will give us everything we need in life. I am going to be a 40-45 pound little guy and I promise that I will be one of the smartest dogs you have ever met. I will have my needs for activity and mental stimulation. I need a family who will take time to train me and teach me things. I am smart and I must be challenged to learn and to stay active so that I don’t get into trouble because I am idle and bored. A bored dog is not a good thing and especially a bored Cattle Dog. I get along with other dogs and play well with others. I may decide as I get older that I need to round everyone up and tell them where to go….but you can curb that habit with a gentle “no”. If you don’t know the breed, Australian Cattle Dogs that is, please read up on us. We can be a couch potato and also a fireball of activity all rolled up into one! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
