Leo's Story...
My name is Leo! I am a super sweet 14 week old male tabby kitten. I was found on a cold, wet night out in the country with my brother when I was just a tiny little baby. A nice lady from Buster’s Friends heard our cries and rescued us. My brother has found his forever home so now it’s my turn. I love to play with the little people I live with and the other cats. Afterwards all I want to do is snuggle in a lap for a nap. I would make a great addition to a family with young kids and other pets. Adopt me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
