Thunder is an amiable, easy-going, funny, and warm-hearted dog who genuinely loves people. Happy and extremely sweet-natured, this canine cutie thrives on human companionship. Readily sharing his affection and kisses upon invitation, he loves to snuggle and be close to his people. Looking to be a much-loved, included family member, Thunder’s a sensitive, gentle, entirely sincere dog who needs a home with responsible, caring owners who provide consistent leadership and meet his exercise and companionship needs.
Mild-mannered and quietly unassuming, Thunder’s an affectionate little charmer who will steal your heart before you even realize it with his animated expressions and sweet, soulful eyes. He’s also got a highly-developed, really funny sense of humor, and if he decides to use it to capture your attention, you’ll, first, be laughing in stitches with the ridiculous, silly faces he’s directing your way; and then, you’ll be totally impressed when realizing his antics are purposeful -- he’s well aware of his ability to make you laugh and loving every second of it.
An intelligent, high-functioning canine who is quick to please when he knows what is expected of him, Thunder has completed Training and Socialization classes at Dundee K-9 where he exceled in obedience. He’ll definitely enjoy and benefit from additional training and socialization classes; this will also be an excellent way to bond with him as well as to reinforce good canine manners.
Thunder is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a moderately-active lifestyle. While we think he’ll get along well with a compatible, similar-sized dog he has been properly introduced to, particularly one of the opposite-sex, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption. A well-mannered, total-package, outstanding family canine, Thunder is also comfortable and been well-mannered around children of all ages, and he’ll do well in just about any home where children and pets alike are taught to respect boundaries and interaction is monitored as it should be.
